Personality & Traits
| General Overview | Kaeda is one of the best pilots in the Red Sun but she's rarely the type to boast about it. She is also smarter than she looks and only tends to open her mouth when the situation calls for it, except if her temper has already flared. She usually keeps to her own business but socializes with other Fringe folk in a game of triad. She doesn't smoke but she does drink and can usually compete with men in a drinking contest and still stand up and think straight. However, she has a bad tendency to chew gum a lot, whether on or off duty, and thus earning her her call sign "Chewy". At first she hesitated in joining the Argos Squadron because of her unexplainable irritation towards Colonials. But she gave in when she realized that she could get to fly her own Viper, learn Colonial tactics but still remain the same. She was also interested in the fact that the Squadron Leader was also as unorthodox as they could get. | |
| Strengths & Weaknesses | Strengths: Dedicated, result-driven, unpredictable flying skills though modest about it Weaknesses: Quick temper, sometimes obsessive on thing she's frustrated with, problem with Colonials | |
| Ambitions | There is only one ambition in Kaeda's head and that's to be the best Fringe pilot there is. *** "Once we've destroyed every last toaster and I can go back to peacefully doing my raids with Colonials eating my space dust, then I will be happy." | |
| Hobbies & Interests | Kaeda loves to gamble. She plays a lot triads and other caed games known to the Colonies. She also loves to fight. So sometimes she combines her love to gamble and her love to fight in joining matches wherein you could bet. She likes to push herself to the limit so she does a lot of rigorous physical activities during her past time as well when she is not gambling. | |
| Languages | Fringe dialect, Colonial standard |
| Personal History | Kaeda grew up in space, living with her family in one Fringe ship to another. It was not an easy life, but if she was forced to live in a colony, she just wouldn't know what to do. As a child growing up in such an environment, she learned to defend herself against other children. At the age of fourteen, she learned to fire a gun. At age fifteen, she became proficient enough with a gun that she was allowed to join raids using rifles. At the age of 16, after a heavy argument with her father, she managed to steal a fighter from the hangar of the ship that they lived in and tried to get away with it. However, she was pursued and barely made it back in one piece. Because of this incident, she was seriously injured and this aggravated her relationship with her parents when she told them that she wanted to become a fighter pilot and help out in the raids once she was back on her feet again. Several months later, she stowed away in another Fringe ship that they came in contact with and was never heard of by her parents ever again. From there she learned to steal or fight for her food and stowed away from one Fringe ship to another. Her adventures also taught her to keep herself invisible when needed. It wasn't until several years ago, when she stowed away in the Red Sun that she finally got caught. She asked the Captain then to let her join the crew. She did everything that needed to be done in order her to be accepted: joined raids as a pilot, joined ground skirmishes on worlds that they needed to get materials from. Much to the astonishment of the crew, she quickly integrated herself and managed to become one of the best female pilots there are in the Fringe. Currently, she decided to volunteer for the Argos Squadron out of a dare. | |
| Service Record | Kaeda has been a member of one Fringe ship for as long as she could remember. Her family are Fringe folk as well but after their falling out when she was sixteen, she hasn't seen any of them for more than 10 years. It wasn't until several years back that she joined the Red Sun. |
